OK, the kids are on vacation and its been raining for days. You’ve used up all your usual diversions and tricks. The kids are bored to tears. What do you do? With free clip art from The Clip Art Site, you have limitless possibilities.
Help your children make their own coloring books. Lots of our
free clipart on The Clip Art Site is black & white line drawings.
You can find all sorts of images to use for your coloring books.
Park your child on your lap and scroll through all the free clip
art images, they’ll find something they like. After you’ve picked the images you like, download each of them to a folder on your hard drive. If you need help saving the files, see our Instructions to Save Images. You will have to use either your photo editing software or a word processor like Microsoft Word. Create a document with a page for each image. Or, if you want, you can create your own cartoon scene with a variety of images on one page. We’ve found kids like horizontal pages – like most of their books. Print your book out using heavy construction paper. You can staple the pages together, or use a hole punch to make a couple holes, then tie the pages together with brightly colored yarn. Now, just hand out the crayons. You don’t have to worry about the children making a mistake. If they draw outside the lines no problem, just make another print. Start with basic drawings and work your way up to the more difficult images. You have a seemingly endless supply of images available for the children to chose from. Each child can express his creativity in his own way.
