I Spy is a game that's most known for long car trips, but your children can play it almost anywhere. With free clip art from The Clip Art Site, creating your own I Spy book is very easy. Taking a trip to the beach? Try using an image of a

sea shell or maybe a fish. Along the way you'll have the kids looking for all kinds of things; like maybe a big barn with a windmill.

But, watch out for that police car!

To get started, just look for free clip art on The Clip Art Site. You'll have thousands of images to pick from. Park your child on your lap and scroll through all the free clip art. They'll find something they like.

Download each of the images to a folder on your hard drive. If you need help saving the files, see our Instructions to Save Images .

Once you've downloaded the images you want, you will have to use either your photo editing software or a word processor like Microsoft Word. Copy and paste your images into a new document. You can put as many or as few images as you like on a page. Print your book out using heavy construction paper. You can staple the pages together, or use a hole punch to make a couple of holes, then tie the pages together with brightly colored yarn.

Your children will have fun in the car, wherever you're going.
