Redwood National and State Parks, created in 1968, are home to some of the world’s tallest trees. Located in Del Norte & Humboldt Counties in California, the Redwood forest contains old-growth coast redwoods. The trees can live to 2000 years and grow to over 300 feet tall. The parks encompass prairie, oak woodlands, rivers, streams and 37 miles of the Pacific coast.
